Because Surrey is a melting pot of immigrants from around the world, there are many religions practiced in Surrey and you will have no problem finding churches, cathedrals, temples, etc to support your religious practices.
Although 25% of Surrey residents have no religious affiliations, 20% of Surrey residents are Sikh, 34% are Catholic, Protestant, or another Christian religion, 3% are Muslim, 3% are Hindu, 2% are Buddhist, and 2% are Jewish, and the balance are made up of many other religions.
You can quickly see why Surrey is such an attractive community. Regardless of your religious beliefs you’ll find acceptance here and others that share your belief system.
SURREY NEIGHBOURING FAITHS PROGRAM
The Surrey Neighbouring Faiths Program is a free, multifaith program for families of children aged 4-6 years. The Program encourages children to value their own cultural, ethnic, and religious identities. Further, it offers experiences for children to learn to respect and appreciate other peoples’ identities, and to feel a sense of belonging in the broader community. The program welcomes participants from all religious backgrounds, as well as those with no religious affiliation
