Public and Community Art

Surrey has more than 30 public art features that spice up Surrey’s vast landscape keeping to the spirit, values and ideas of the people that live in our community. It includes a range of public and community art approaches. The Public Art Program began in 1998 and seeks to bring art and art practices into the daily experience of the citizens of Surrey.

By visiting some of the other sections in the website, you will find information on current artist opportunities, the Public Art Advisory Committee, the Public Art Policy and how to get in touch with us.  In particular, you can access more detailed information about the artworks in our inventory by going to the Public Art Projects and Locations heading.
